Impressions. We make them all the time. Consciously or not. It doesn’t matter. They’re made with or without your blessing. Which is a lot like a brand. As much as we want to control how others perceive us, our work, our business, they’re still making those decisions with or without us. Each impression, or time, they interact with us, they form an opinion. And it’s constantly being reinforced. So if it’s negative, you’re going to have to work extra hard to adjust that. If you can. Which is something to think extra hard about when launching a new business, program, product or service. You put something out there that isn’t finished, isn’t right, and that’s how others may see it. So take it a little slower. Do it with a little more intention. Because there’s only one first time.
